When you think of Georgia, what comes to mind? For me, instantly, I think of peaches, football, and sweet tea. I have only been to Georgia a few times, but I know that the Southern Hospitality is alive and well. Plus who doesn't love the range of oranges, corals, soft peach, and shades of pink that a ripe peach brings to mind? Always a wardrobe inspiration!
Varsity Jackets/Sweater. Fall always makes me think of back to school, and thus a perfect Varsity emblem to wear proudly, even if you are not longer in school, is a fun way to add a little interest to your outfits. I am going to be on the look out for an oversized varsity sweater!
2. Peter Pan Collars. My favorite way to add whimsy to any outfit. These collars are very reminisent of elementary school, but worn in a way when pair with adult sized heels or paired with dark blue jeans you can avoid the little girl look, and put a polished spin on this fashion style.
Favorite photographer to work with: I’ve worked with many amazing photographers but I love working with Miranda Leigh. She’s my best friend and really knows how to get the best from me.
Tell me about your featured photo(s). When were they taken? Why are they your favourite? I love to do a mixture of different things and always keep challenging myself. How did you get your model name? Yes Skye is my real name haha. As it’s hard to abbreviate I never really had a nick name growing up so when I got my ‘Medusa’ tattoo it kind of stuck. My real last name is Korvin and although it’s awesome it’s hard for people to spell and remember.
I think this is going to be a fall splurge, or at least a fall purchase. I love the style of oxfords, but am always looking for a boost in the height department! I love this style because it is reminiscent of school days, but with a modern edge and a feminine look, because of the heel.
Do you have a pair of shoes you are keeping your eyes on for the fall?
A new little edition, with style inspiration from our lovely U.S.A. First up is the fine state of Florida. I have only been to florida once, and it super fun. I love the amount of ethnic flavor that this state has to offer, especially compared to how different it is in the midwest.
Are you from Florida? Do you have a favorite staple from the sunshine state?

These shoes are from Dolce & Gabbana and I could totally see these are a great way to bring in the fall season. Rich orange and lots of jewels! Wedges are great to continue to wear through the warmer fall months and are an easy way to add interest to any fall wardrobe!
Favorite photographer to work with: Vixen Pinup Photography Nikki and Candy are not only great artists, but they are also great gals, and extremely easy to work with. The experience is always great, and the finished product is amazing! When were they taken? Why are they your favorite? My shoot with Roy Varga was done in Kansas City and it was my first pinup shoot ever. I was so excited to just meet Roy, not too mention actually shoot with him. It was amazing! I love Christmas so much, so that's why I included this one. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great time shooting with Nikki. I shot with Va Va Voom at VLV16. I love this photo because that Deadly Dames dress is my favorite article of clothing! I started a non-profit organization in my community called the Sioux Empire Rock-a-Bettys. We have been putting together a calendar and some postcard photos, and the Mod Era photo was one done for that group. It's been a blast!
How long have you been modeling/enjoying photography? I decided to try modeling and pinup photography after I had my daughter about 2 years ago. I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was like 4, and from that moment on I knew I wanted to wear pearls, high heels, and lots of sparkles. My only regret is that I waited so long to encourage myself to do it.
Who are your favorite Pinup Models? Past or present inspiration? Of course Bettie Page, Elizabeth Taylor, and many others from the past are huge inspirations and all time favorites. However, there are a lot of gals from the present that rank pretty high as well. Natasha Estrada (aka La Cholita) is a huge inspiration to me. I admire her ability to embrace motherhood and her own career and life at the same time. And of course, I think she is just plain beautiful!!
What is some of your favorite clothing lines? Favorite Designers? Pinup Girl Clothing was the brand that first inspired me to embrace my inner bombshell. I was blown away at the diversity of designs and sizes that they offered, and I love Laura Byrnes and Micheline Pitt's designs and prints. I'm also a big fan of Mode Merr, and for lingerie you can not beat Secrets in Lace.
If you could shoot with any photographer, past or present, who would it be? I really want to shoot with Viva Van Story someday. I love their work, and I'm always blown away by their style and edge. Divine. I'm a huge fan of John Waters and particularly Divine. If Divine is not available, then Elizabeth Taylor would be a fabulous substitute.
How did you get your model name? Roxy Bamm-Bamm just sort of came to be one day. Before I had even thought about pinup photography I decided that I needed an alter ego. I love the Flintstones a bunch, and I think Roxy just sounds sassy.
